Lifestyle & Nutrition

The 3 Pillars of Health : Structural, emotional, and nutritional health are inextricably linked.

I like to explore ALL aspects of your health and well-being, as you will see from my questionnaire.

Changes for the better in all three areas can support your progress towards good, even optimum health. I work with those wishing to explore getting in touch with their true deeper selves through health and well-being coaching. I believe you usually hold all the answers yourself. Sometimes we just need to unlearn habits or mindsets which we are stuck in but have come to identify as ourselves.

Structural: Musculoskeletal health: bones, muscles and joints. Your beams, bricks and mortar!

Nutritional: If you’re missing certain nutrients or having too many of others through imbalances in diet or eating habits, this will affect your mood, and how your body functions and responds to exercise. Nutrition is a highly personalised aspect of your health.  If you are in reasonable health with no hormonal imbalances and are sleeping well, then eating fewer calories should reduce weight. But, in my 25+ years in this industry, I’ve learnt that it’s often more complicated than this. Exploring how, when and why you're eating is a key aspect of good nutritional health.

‘Many hands make light work’: I advocate consultation with a nutritional therapist who can clinically assess and explore dietary and nutritional needs. I work with a select group of specialists and pride myself on putting you with the best person for your needs.

Emotional: Do you feel you're stuck? In pain? If you are in repeating cycles of behaviour that aren’t optimum for your health, there may be something emotionally deeper that needs processing. This may mean exploring pathways that are challenging but emotional awareness can help you access better mental and physical health.

Lifestyle Changes: I’ll explore positive changes you can make across many aspects of your life, from work-life balance to eating and sleeping habits.

Lack of sleep can impact not only on your fitness and work performance, but also mood, motivation, even digestion.  I encourage you to explore relationships that are not supporting your overall health; from addictive behaviours to present and past emotional traumas
